Installer Exam Review
In preparation for the Installer Exam the candidates will study various topics relating to the test. State and local back flow regulations will be reviewed. Recognition of back pressure, back siphonage, or cross connection will be explored and discussed. Proper installation of back flow devices will be examined. In order to better prepare the installer, general job site safety will be taught. Characteristics of various types of pipe, sweating of copper pipe, solvent welding of plastic pipe, and the installation of compression fittings are topics for discussion. The installer will be reminded of how to read irrigation plans and drafting symbols. These and other topics will be studied in order to ready each installer for the exam.
